J. Buckley Warden IV practices primarily in the firm's Civil Litigation Group, with a focus on serving businesses and individuals involved in contract disputes.
Mr. Warden's cases include non-compete agreements, insurance contracts, acquisition and development loan and construction loan breaches, adversary proceedings in bankruptcy, and business-to-business or individual-to-business contracts. Having worked on federal court cases involving tens of thousands of documents, Mr. Warden has experience with complex discovery battles where multi-million dollar damage claims are on the line.
Mr. Warden knows that individual problems, large or small, need individual solutions, and enjoys not just solving each client's problem, but choosing the most efficient path to resolution.

Mr. Warden earned his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of Richmond Law Review and was a member of the John Marshall Inn of Court. He also served on the Moot Court Board, the Trial Advocacy Board, and the Law School Admissions Committee. During law school, Mr. Warden received numerous awards and honors including the following:

- International Trial Advocacy Award (awarded by the faculty at graduation)

Mr. Warden graduated magna cum laude from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy. During college, he served as Captain of the Furman University Mock Trial Team.
Between law school and joining DurretteCrump , Mr. Warden served as a law clerk to The Honorable G. Edward Welmaker, Resident Judge of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of South Carolina, who presides over both a criminal and civil docket.
