Katrina Forrest practices in the areas of professional liability defense and civil litigation. Prior to joining McSweeney, Crump, Childress and Temple, Ms. Forrest practiced with Childress, Gould & Russell, P.C. and Thompson, Smithers, Newman, Wade & Childress, L.L.P.
She was corporate counsel at Homebytes, an internet-based real estate company, and previously practiced in the Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights section of the Litigation team at Hunton & Williams in Richmond, Virginia. Ms. Forrest began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Douglas O. Tice, Jr., Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
She has been recognized by Virginia Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" in Professional Liability Defense Law for 2008, 2009, 2010 and as a "Virginia Super Lawyer" in 2011.
